Tell us more about your business
At Trinity Wellness Living, I primarily help busy moms of all ages who may have recently been diagnosed with prediabetes, or type 2 diabetes and are not sure what to do, or where to go next. Perhaps they are feeling fatigue, gaining weight unexpectedly, feeling overwhelmed or stressed with their health and life, and looking to take the necessary steps to transform your body and overall health.
My goal is to help them improve their health through proper diabetes education and expert guidance, giving them the proper knowledge and education they need which may include areas of nutrition, blood glucose (blood sugar) monitoring, physical activity, sleep patterns, stress management, and all the support they need along the way to get them on the path to transform their health and their life.
Currently I am still working my part-time float pharmacist job as well as running my own business. This makes each day look a little different depending on what I have going on. My passion is to meet people where they are at in their metabolic journey and help them rekindle their hope and vitality.
Another way I work with people is through my online βIntroduction to Meditationβ course. This course is for anyone looking to learn more about meditation and how to incorporate it into their daily live. Meditation came along in my life during a time of great stress and helped me learn to live with more mindfulness and presence.
In one or two sentences, what specific problem does your business solve for your clients?
In my programs, my clients get recommendations on alternative options in managing their diabetes, nutrition recommendations, stress management techniques, and sleep techniques they can use in their everyday life. The top benefits are:
Improve blood glucose levels
Reduced stress and anxiety
Improved sleep
Improved energy levels
Save money / reduce costs for medications
Recent milestone you've celebrated in your business
I have received several referrals this year and have increased marketing of my online meditation course.
What is a recent investment youβve made in your business
I realized about 1 year into my entrepreneurial journey that I needed to find a coach that was more aligned with my vision and had walked the road I was wanting to walk so I hired a holistic pharmacist coach to help me refine my message and my niche. I also attended a Practice Better summit in the fall of 2024 to engage with other business owners. Thatβs where I met Kelsey. Her β5 Strategies to Sign 25 Clients in 25 Daysβ presentation was very helpful in understanding marketing and provided a great framework for my workflow.
What changed after that investment? Why do you see it as an investment, not an expense?
After the investment, I coached my first 2 clients and I have been able to consistently market my business online and in person. These coaches and courses are an investment in my business as they lead to collaboration with other business owners and lead to business growth.
What would you tell a new entrepreneur who's considering investing in the same thing, but is hesitant?
I would tell them to check out the investment, talk to others who have invested in it to make sure itβs a good fit for you and the direction you are wanting to go and then make sure it makes sense for you financially.
Now for some fun stuff!
Alwaysβ¦
Always strive for progress over perfection and give yourself grace on the journey.
Neverβ¦
Never compare yourself to others. This journey is yours to take.
Advice for other entrepreneurs, who are slightly less far alongβ¦
Don't be afraid to ask for help from others. You are not alone. Many entrepreneurs are willing to lend a helping hand at no charge.
What is a tool, resource, podcast, book or person youβve invested in thatβs added value to your entrepreneurial journey
Atomic Habits by James Clear, Positive Intelligence by Shirzad Chamine and The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle These books have shaped my outlook about myself and about my life. I also invested in a Brain Tap headset and subscription in order to retrain my brain to achieve better equanimity in my daily life.
Favourite way to wind down after a long workweek
I enjoy working outside, weather permitting, in my yard and flower beds. I also enjoy reading a good book in the morning with my coffee and my cat.
Before starting my workday, I make sure toβ¦
Have a Brain Tap session followed by at least 5 minutes of meditation
Best part of my work isβ¦
Meeting my clients where they are at and helping to set them up for long-term success. I love seeing them get back to a meaningful and fulfilling life, taking back control of their diabetes, so it no longer controls them!
Last vacation you took (and where did you go)
My last big vacation was April of 2025 to Faribanks, Alaska to see the northern lights. It was a bucket list vacation and was everything I wanted and more. I saw the lights, walked with reindeer, learned curling, soaked in a hot springs, went dog sledding and ate lots of good food.
