The TL;DR for Brook Sheehan of Dr. Brook Sheehan.
Dr. Brook Sheehan is a Doctor of Chiropractic, functional health practitioner, speaker, podcast host, and self-described recovering healtholic who helps women move from fear to peace in the way they care for their health.
After years of both practicing in the health and wellness space and personally chasing the next answer, protocol, supplement, and strategy, Brook began questioning the fear and pressure often hiding underneath the pursuit of health.
Today, her work centers on helping women build a different relationship with the body God designed. Through her bodyOS framework, Brook teaches women to pause, connect, ask, and adjust so they can develop greater confidence, discernment, and trust in their own bodies.
She is the host of the Beyond Wellness Culture podcast and creator of the Talk to Me, Body Affirmation Card Deck, the Health Overwhelm Reset, and the Body of Wonder experience. Her message is simple: caring deeply about your health should support your life, not consume it.

Tell us more about your business
I help women who care deeply about their health but have become overwhelmed by conflicting information, constant research, protocols, supplements, and the pressure to get everything right. Most of the women I work with are not uninformed. They are over-informed. They have spent years trying to make good decisions for their bodies but still donβt feel confident in those decisions.
My work helps them move from fear and control toward peace, discernment, and a stronger relationship with the body God designed. I teach that through my bodyOS framework, which gives women a practical way to pause, connect, ask, and adjust instead of automatically reacting to every symptom, health headline, or new recommendation.
My days can include recording podcast episodes, writing and creating educational content, developing workshops and digital programs, speaking, and supporting patients through telehealth. People usually find me through social media, podcasts, speaking opportunities, my website, or one of my free health education resources.
In one or two sentences, what specific problem does your business solve for your clients?
I help women who care deeply about their health but keep finding themselves questioning what to eat, what to take, who to listen to, and whether theyβre doing enough. I teach them how to understand and trust the body God designed so they can make health decisions with more discernment and less fear.
Recent milestone you've celebrated in your business
Selling 231 copies of my Talk to Me, Body Affirmation Card Deck and hearing the stories of how women are actually using it in their everyday lives. Seeing the messages, testimonials, and personal ways theyβre using the cards to reconnect with their bodies has been one of the most meaningful parts of creating it.
What is a recent investment youβve made in your business
Investing in business coaching has been one of the BEST things Iβve done for my business.
I knew I wanted to move away from building everything around one-on-one clinical work and create more ways to teach, speak, and reach women beyond my patient schedule. I had no shortage of ideas (ADHD brain here), but I needed help getting clear on what actually fit together, what direction I wanted to take the business, and how to build it in a way that was sustainable.
What changed after that investment? Why do you see it as an investment, not an expense?
Iβve been able to set up systems and automate more of the day-to-day work, use AI in ways that actually save me time, get much clearer on my brand and messaging, and do a lot of the mindset work around believing Iβm capable of building the kind of business I want and charging appropriately for the value I provide.
It also helped me see that the work I care most about is bigger than symptoms, supplements, or even teaching women how to listen to their bodies. Itβs helping women change the way they relate to their health altogether. Once that clicked, so many other pieces started making more sense.
I definitely see it as an investment because the return is not just financial. It has helped me make better decisions, waste less time, move faster, and build with more clarity instead of constantly trying to figure everything out on my own.
What would you tell a new entrepreneur who's considering investing in the same thing, but is hesitant?
Make sure youβre investing because youβre ready to implement, not because youβre hoping someone else will do the work for you. (mic drop π)
I also think there comes a point where asking, βCan I figure this out myself?β is not the most helpful question. Of course you probably can. The better question is, βIs figuring this out myself the best use of my time?β
The right support can help you see things youβre too close to see, shorten the learning curve, and give you the confidence to make decisions you might otherwise keep putting off.
Now for some fun stuff!
Alwaysβ¦
Always make decisions from a place of peace, not pressure.
Neverβ¦
Never outsource your own discernment.
Advice for other entrepreneurs, who are slightly less far alongβ¦
Give yourself permission to change your mind. But just make sure you are changing because you have greater clarity, not because you are reacting to every new idea that crosses your feed. (Where my ADHD people at? Thatβs a word for us! :) )
What is a tool, resource, podcast, book or person youβve invested in thatβs added value to your entrepreneurial journey
Coaching has added the most value, and itβs led to new tools and other resources. It helped shorten the time between speed and implementation.
Favourite way to wind down after a long workweek
Honestly, give me a solid 10-15 minutes in my bed of utter silence and then a nice dinner and whatever Netflix show Iβm binging.
Before starting my workday, I make sure toβ¦
Carve out 30-45 minutes of βmeβ time to read, move my body, and have quiet time. Itβs so necessary for me to show up at my best for others when I pour into myself first.
Best part of my work isβ¦
Witnessing the joy on clients and patients' faces when everything just βclicksβ and they experience the health transformations they were searching for.
Last vacation you took (and where did you go)
