Living Visionary: Catching up with the incredible members of the Visionary Community!
In this series, I’ll be catching up with the incredible member of our Visionary Community from past and present.
This is a project that I started while I was on Maternity Leave (#VisionaryMama) with my first baby as a way to stay plugged in, inspired and rooted among the community of clients and students that I’ve supported over the last (almost) 8 years.
Enjoy, and if it feels appropriate please support their amazing businesses!

Hey, I'm Coach Kerri & I'm not your average Personal Trainer! Educated as a personal trainer, nutrition, sleep, mindset and holistic health coach to be your one-stop-shop for a weight loss transformation. Because helping women actually lose weight & feel great is about SO much more than just exercise.
I love helping my clients reach their goals by working on habits within nutrition, exercise, sleep and mindset because working in just one area won't give you the results you strive for.
Since having my son, I saw first hand the huge need for women's health support, especially during the postpartum period! We, as moms, have unique needs and therefore deserve a unique approach to training and nutrition.
Since there is no one size fits all solution to any health & wellness problems, I take a personalized approach with each client and touch base regularly to help guide them in the right direction of their goals and make sure they are continuously growing by adding new habits as I see fit. I offer in person sessions in Elora, Ontario or virtual options through my app or zoom. I can mix and match options to build the best plan for each individual.

Always…
Do what's best for you!
Never…
Let go of your goals and dreams.
Advice for other entrepreneurs, who are slightly less far along…
Ask for help when you need it, you shouldn’t do everything alone!
Tool, resource, podcast, book or person you’ve invested in that’s added value to your entrepreneurial journey
Definitely Wave mastermind! A supportive women’s business group is exactly what I needed.
Tell us more about your business (what do you do, who do you help, what does your workday look like, how do people find out about you).
I love working 1:1 with women 30 and up who are ready to take charge of their health, fitness and overall wellness! I teach them how to:
Safely workout for strength gain and fat loss
Fuel their bodies vs starving or trying fad diets
Make sleep a priority
Change their mindset to support their journey and enjoy the process of a healthy lifestyle instead of looking for quick fixes to lose a couple pounds and then gain them back again.
I also offer a virtual program to help moms during the first year postpartum to take care of their needs and reach their goals without feeling guilty about it.
It’s broken down to give them the basics and help with everything from pelvic floor correctives to building healthy meals for the family.
Recent milestone you’ve celebrated in your business
Constantly hitting small milestones as my business is so new, but I am most happy about helping more women love their bodies again!
Favourite way to wind down after a long workweek.
Have a great dinner with my husband, enjoy some family time outside and then watch a good show cuddled up on the couch.
Before starting my workday, I make sure to…
Complete my morning routine so I feel prepared to help others since I took care of myself first!
Best part of my work is…
Seeing my clients get stronger and more confident as we work together. I have seen some amazing life changes that keep me wanting to help others.
Tips for someone who is hesitant to follow their heart and start their own business?
Work on truly believing in yourself and the business idea. If you are not confident, it can show through and clients are less likely to join.
Last vacation you took (and where did you go)…
We were camping and cottaging as a family all summer through Ontario.
I love exploring new places, finding trails and local coffee shops. My last big flight was to Mexico for some beach and relaxation.
Bucket list vacation that you hope to embark on in the next 5 years (where to and why?)
I have so many on my bucket list, but hopefully I could actually get to Costa Rica or Norway.
Two very different places but both are great for outdoor activities and seeing a different culture and pace of life.
