The TL;DR for Victoria Mae Cassell of Victoria Mae - Personal Branding Agency.
Victoria Mae Cassell is on a mission to grow Canada's largest personal brand agency built for female founders. She believes more women deserve to succeed, to be multipassionate, and to be recognized as authorities in their industries.
Through brand photography and video, personal branding strategy, and her signature Built to Be Seen partnership, Victoria helps women-owned businesses across Canada and the US architect a personal brand that feels authentically them, one that turns their expertise into a brand people recognize, trust, and buy from.
Her strategy goes beyond content: she advises on the full roadmap to visibility, helping founders expand what they believe is possible so they can build the businesses, and lives, they're truly capable of.
Victoria's approach blends a photographer's eye with a strategist's mind. She doesn't just capture a great photo. She builds visibility systems, grounded in photography and video, that align with a founder's business goals, so when opportunity comes, she's ready to be seen and known.
Her clients range from independent founders under $1M in revenue to partnerships with household name brands, and her work has been shaped by hands-on experience across the full spectrum of personal branding, from a single founder's first professional shoot to multi-month strategy for growing founder-led corporations.
Based in Collingwood, Ontario, Victoria is guided by a simple belief: you can't buy from someone you don't know exists. Her mission is to help women step into their purpose with confidence, be seen in their industry, and become known for what makes them undeniable.

Tell us more about your business
I may have invented this title, but I do whatever is needed at your Chief Personal Branding Officer. My days never EVER look the same, because every woman, and every personal brand is different. But youβll often find me on set creative directing, and shooting visuals for the brands we work with.
You may also catch me strategizing, meeting with clients, building roadmaps and game plans for visibility, editing content, and of course sprinkle in some cute coffee dates, networking events, and lux dinners. I also host a free book club / female entrepreneur community on Mondays too!
I help driven female entrepreneurs become the face of their business, and expand their empires. Because who says you can only do one passion at a time.
In one or two sentences, what specific problem does your business solve for your clients?
I help female entrepreneurs build personal brands that get them seen, known and loved.
Recent milestone you've celebrated in your business
My milestones are my clients wins. This year alone my clients have published books, relaunched websites, been on billboards (plural!), be featured in magazines, launch podcasts, be seen in the news. Visibility matters, and Iβm here to help make it happen.
What is a recent investment youβve made in your business
Networking events will forever be the best investment I have ever made, and I encourage everyone else to go to them too. Itβs one thing to be seen online, but when they meet you in person first, and then connect deeper with you when they see your online presence laterβ¦ ohhhh that's where real magic happens. Get into rooms because it will expand you beyond what you ever imagined, especially when you show up authentically you.
What changed after that investment? Why do you see it as an investment, not an expense?
Every event I go to thereβs something so valuable to get out of it. Sometimes its finding new friends in business, or discovering new clients. Other times its value from a speaker, or a breakthrough in a hotseat. These rooms energize me, but also taught me the power of having a personal brand that you actually control the narrative of. When you show up with intention and authentically and your online presence matchesβ¦ trust in you and your offer is unmatched. I didnβt go into it to make clients, but it just keeps happening.
What would you tell a new entrepreneur who's considering investing in the same thing, but is hesitant?
Donβt wait to surround yourself with community. Thereβs so much comparison online, and it can feel pretty saturated, with also incredibly lonely. Joining a community of other female entrepreneurs will help you expand what you know your capable of, because others can see it, because others have done it, because literally anything is possible.
Now for some fun stuff!
Alwaysβ¦
Always remember that you are beautifully and wonderfully made. That you have a purpose and a mission. That you are capable of so much more.
Neverβ¦
Never forget that you are loved. AND never give up on yourself!
Advice for other entrepreneurs, who are slightly less far alongβ¦
Double down on building your personal brand. Amazing opportunities will come, and you want to make sure they find YOU!
What is a tool, resource, podcast, book or person youβve invested in thatβs added value to your entrepreneurial journey
Community, Personal Branding and Understanding your numbers like a CEO early on will give you the best foundation. I recommend HighVibe Women for community, and Vanessa | Mint Worthy Co βs course unblock your business for understanding your money! Obviously I'm biased on who can help you with your personal brand and visibility.
Favourite way to wind down after a long workweek
Mormon Wives, Real Housewives, or some version of reality tv, a gorgeous sunset out our window, and cuddles with my husband. Bonus points if we add in a turtles skor blizzard from dairy queen!
Before starting my workday, I make sure toβ¦
Pray and listen to my CEO Manifesto. Getting aligned with my purpose helps steer the ship daily.
Best part of my work isβ¦
That click when a woman sees herself as who she hoped to become one day⦠today.
Last vacation you took (and where did you go)
Barbados⦠which I'm not sure counts because to me that's home, not vacation. But normally I have a big travel bug, so before that was South Africa & Egypt.
