Natalie Mendola is a Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of nursing experience and over a decade of advanced practice experience. Her clinical background spans primary care, mental health and addictions, weight management, and medical aesthetics, with a strong focus on providing evidence-informed, patient-centred care.
Nat is the Medical Director and Nurse Practitioner behind Nurtured by Nat Injectables, an independent practice focused on medical aesthetics and wellness. She has completed advanced training in neuromodulators, hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments, and medical weight management. Her approach emphasizes thoughtful assessment, patient education, safety, and treatment plans that are individualized to each person's goals.
Across her clinical roles, Natalie is passionate about creating healthcare experiences where patients feel heard, informed, and comfortable participating in decisions about their care. Tell us more about your business
I provide assessment and treatment for dynamic facial wrinkles with cosmetic injectable services such as neurotoxin treatments (ie. botox) & hyaluronic acid filler . I also provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning for concerns around weight management, perimenopause/menopause and hair loss.
My favourite patient is a woman in her 30s-40s, who is really looking to start (or continue) taking some time out for themselves and reclaim who they want to be. Sometimes, as trivial as it sounds, feeling like you are looking more like the self you remember can be the push you need to do the next right thing for yourself. My exam chair really doubles as a therapy couch at times, and I never take for granted the trust people put in me as their provider. Helping make women more confident in themselves is the best part of my job.
A typical work day could look like multiple botox patients, a consult for weight management, a consult for perimenopause and some microneedling. I schedule my day around my kids and my other work obligations and do mostly evening and weekend appointments to accommodate work schedules of my patients.

In one or two sentences, what specific problem does your business solve for your clients?
I help people not be able to tell what you are thinking…by freezing your face…k maybe don’t say that
I like to say I help women get their pink back…My office is actually wallpapered in flamingos because I always think about the fact that flamingos lose their pink after having their babies. I’m here to help women get that back.
Recent milestone you’ve celebrated in your business?
I recently was awarded Gold by Community Votes Brantford for Medical Aesthetics.
I recently celebrated 1 year of my business being open.
What is a recent investment you’ve made in your business
Joining WAVE has been an absolute game changer for me. I was prompted by the fact that I felt a bit lost in the business world and because of that felt vulnerable and didn’t know who was safe to reach out to.
What changed after that investment? Why do you see it as an investment, not an expense?
My confidence has increased and I feel like I’m working harder at making real connections and ideas seem to be coming to me more easily. I find especially after our weekly calls I leave feeling like there are a million things I could do and I find myself excited vs. overwhelmed.
For myself, as a healthcare provider, thinking like an entrepreneur doesn’t come as easily and I struggle with the sales aspect of that. Joining a group where I can learn from experts has been an invaluable investment.
What would you tell a new entrepreneur who's considering investing in the same thing, but is hesitant?
You don’t have to do everything at once, but you should always bet on yourself and just do the next right thing.

I don’t know if you can be less far along than me… but truly, ask for help, find your people, be vulnerable. Everything will work out just fine.
