Living Visionary: Catching up with the incredible members of the Visionary Community!
In this series, I’ll be catching up with the incredible member of our Visionary Community from past and present.
This is a project that I started while I was on Maternity Leave (#VisionaryMama) with my first baby as a way to stay plugged in, inspired and rooted among the community of clients and students that I’ve supported over the last (almost) 8 years.
Enjoy, and if it feels appropriate please support their amazing businesses!

Always…
Always remember you are so much more than you think you are, always. Always set a joy alarm and take in the ordinary moments because that is how you feel your joy stack.
Always know deep forgiveness will bring you the peace you have been seeking. Remember the person you have been searching for is you and she is ready for you. Remember your emotions are never an indication of who you are, they are indicating what you need. Remember you got this!
Never…
Never stop learning and believing in yourself.
Compare yourself to anyone else. Never mention the belly button to me (because it is my weird phobia) Never forget how loved, deserving and worthy you are.
Advice for other entrepreneurs, who are slightly less far along…
Get in groups with other people who are where you are or slightly ahead because bringing your vision into reality will require faith, trust and community. The noise will get loud and your community will always remind you are smart, capable and supported.
Tool, resource, podcast, book or person you’ve invested in that’s added value to your entrepreneurial journey
I have been in business for 12 years now and I could write an entire blog on this! A few of my favourites:
My local business hub: I did their youth mentorship program and created my business plan, was validated by mentors, learned all about the financials and received a $5000 grant.
Podcast: The Visionary Life- Kelsey Reidl
Was a member of a local Business Networking group for 5 years and it built my business and taught me how to refer to other businesses, build relationships and promote, advertise and pitch my business.

Tell us more about your business (what do you do, who do you help, what does your workday look like, how do people find out about you).
I am passionate about self-love and forgiveness and I am an advocate for how we take care of our mental and emotional health is where our success and joy flow from.
I am a trained social worker and certified transformational life coach and Practitioner of the Quantum Forgiveness session. I aim to guide women back to their truth so they
Recent milestone you’ve celebrated in your business
11 years in business!
Favourite way to wind down after a long workweek.
Homemade pizza with family, an art activity finished with a dance party!
Before starting my workday, I make sure to…
Breathe and set my joy alarm and take all the joy in. The reminder that joy is found in the simple ordinary moments.
Best part of my work is…
I have so many, hearing clients say “I have hope again”, after years of not knowing our work and our time together will cultivate the direction and space to live their life in alignment.
Having the opportunity to cultivate meaningful and purposeful relationships with clients and watch the years of emotional baggage disappear, in real time.
Tips for someone who is hesitant to follow their heart and start their own business?
Ask yourself why you want the business and what it will do for you, because on the hardest of days when you question yourself, your guiding post will be your why.
Last vacation you took (and where did you go)…
We went to Dominican, it was our daughter's first all inclusive vacation and she LOVED IT. She is the best traveller. I was pregnant with our son who is now 2.5.
Bucket list vacation that you hope to embark on in the next 5 years (where to and why?)
Angers France, I want to bring my family there, I went in 2015 and I was interviewed there for the work I was doing as a social worker at the time.
My interview was put in the museum and I want to show my children the work I was honoured to do and how it still lives in my heart each day. That trip was an integral part of my journey as a woman and a mother and holds roots to my lineage.
