Living Visionary: Catching up with the incredible members of the Visionary Community!
In this series, I’ll be catching up with the incredible member of our Visionary Community from past and present.
This is a project that I started while I was on Maternity Leave (#VisionaryMama) with my first baby as a way to stay plugged in, inspired and rooted among the community of clients and students that I’ve supported over the last (almost) 8 years.
Enjoy, and if it feels appropriate please support their amazing businesses!

Bio…
Dr. Margot Lattanzi is a Toronto-based Naturopathic Doctor and acupuncture provider on a mission to help tired adults heal the root cause of their health concerns so they can feel fully recharged. Her own journey of navigating confusing health symptoms sparked her passion for this work and continues to shape the way she supports her patients today.
She is the creator of The Hormone Cornerstone Method—a signature approach to beating fatigue by optimizing the six essential cornerstones of health—as well as the Fatigue Fix Guide and the Calm Your Cortisol Reset. Having helped hundreds of men and women experience dramatic shifts in their energy and health, Dr. Margot believes that real change often comes from small, consistent steps.
Her philosophy blends science with intuition and structure with ease, always focusing on strategies that feel sustainable rather than overwhelming. To her, the best medicine works by restoring balance to both hormones and the nervous system—so people can return to a life that feels lighter, calmer, and more energized.

Always…
Bring warmth and humor into a room (smiles and laughter are my default), express how you are truly feeling, and balance finding time for stillness and moving fast when inspiration strikes.
Never…
Ignore my gut instincts — they’re usually right. Pretend I’m a morning person (coffee and slow mornings only!).
Or lose sight of the bigger picture: health and life should feel sustainable, not like another thing on your to-do list.
Advice for other entrepreneurs, who are slightly less far along…
My advice would be to try a bunch of things and see what sticks. Follow what genuinely lights you up, and don’t be afraid to pivot when something starts to drain you.
It’s completely okay to change your mind. Surround yourself with people and experiences that inspire you, both inside and outside of work. And remember that you’re allowed to do things differently than others in your field. That’s often where your magic is!
Tool, resource, podcast, book or person you’ve invested in that’s added value to your entrepreneurial journey
I wish I could name just one, but honestly it’s been a balance of many. Some resources have come directly from my field, but often the biggest inspiration comes from completely different places.
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a podcast girl—it’s one of my favorite ways to learn and stay inspired. But the real game-changers for me have been energy-based practices like acupuncture, reiki, homeopathy, and working with energy healers.
Those have shifted my mindset, sparked creativity, and helped me feel magnetic in my work. Plus, ever underestimate the value of something as simple as a coffee or walk with a colleague or fellow entrepreneur. Those conversations can be just as impactful as any formal training.
Tell us more about your business (what do you do, who do you help, what does your workday look like, how do people find out about you).
At first glance, my business is about helping tired adults balance their hormones through naturopathic medicine and acupuncture. That’s the heart of it, but what I really do is combine up-to-date research, learn about new techniques, and a lot of cheerleading and support to help people feel like themselves again.
While a big part of my work is seeing patients (both in person and virtually), my days are so much more than just appointments. A typical day might include creating resources or programs, connecting with other health care providers, jumping on networking calls (including Wave!), and handling all the behind-the-scenes pieces that keep a business running—like writing, marketing, and staying organized.
When I first started out, I knew there would be a business component, and I’ve always loved that side of things. From adjusting my schedule, to stocking supplements and herbs, to creating a healing space that feels just right—I find those details just as fulfilling as the clinical work. Most people find me online through my website, Instagram, or simply word of mouth.
Recent milestone you’ve celebrated in your business
I love celebrating the small stuff, so there's no lack of celebrations here! A recent milestone is hitting three years since I moved to a new city and essentially had to rebuild my business from the ground up.
It was a huge life change, and it meant starting fresh with a new client base, rebranding, and really honing in on the kind of work I wanted to do. Looking back, I’m so proud of how I was able to restart and not just rebuild, but actually thrive in a new chapter.
Favourite way to wind down after a long workweek.
Once I close my laptop, I’m officially done for the day.
My favorite way to wind down is something simple and comforting: putting on a sitcom I’ve seen a hundred times, relaxing on the couch, and then cooking a delicious dinner. I always end the night cozied up in bed with a rom-com style book—it’s my little ritual.
Before starting my workday, I make sure to…
Before starting my workday, I always make sure to drink my water and coffee, listen to a podcast, and play my New York Times games.
Then I set up my space with the right lighting, soundtrack, and scents—it helps me feel grounded and ready to dive in.
Best part of my work is…
The best part of my work is twofold. First, it’s the impact I get to have in people’s lives. I love helping them feel seen, heard, and more like themselves, and watching the positive shifts they’re able to create (because let’s be honest, they do the real work!).
And second, it’s the impact they have on me, including the inspiration, motivation, and emotions I get to share and experience through those connections.
Tips for someone who is hesitant to follow their heart and start their own business?
My tip would be this: yes, you need a bit of a plan, but more than anything you need to listen to that little voice inside of you. Start small if that feels safer, but don’t be afraid to dream big.
When you connect to what you truly want, and not what others expect from you, that’s when everything else starts to fall into place.
Last vacation you took (and where did you go)…
My last vacation was to London, England for a dear friend’s wedding. It was the perfect balance of time to myself exploring neighborhoods through parks and coffee shops, reconnecting with old friends, and then dancing our hearts out late into the night.
Bucket list vacation that you hope to embark on in the next 5 years (where to and why?)
My partner is South African, so at the very top of my bucket list is a trip there in the next few years. I can’t wait to see where his family is from, soak in the beautiful beaches and views, and finally try the peri peri chicken and all the other foods I’ve heard so much about (we are big foodies over here!)
