Living Visionary: Catching up with the incredible members of the Visionary Community!
In this series, Iβll be catching up with the incredible member of our Visionary Community from past and present.
This is a project that I started while I was on Maternity Leave (#VisionaryMama) with my first baby as a way to stay plugged in, inspired and rooted among the community of clients and students that Iβve supported over the last (almost) 8 years.
Enjoy, and if it feels appropriate please support their amazing businesses!

Advice for other entrepreneurs, who are slightly less far alongβ¦
Building a business is a long game and itβs normal to look around and feel like youβre missing something, not doing it right or not moving as fast as others around you.
But the reality is, when youβre building something sustainable you need to build it your own way, in your own time. Whatβs the rush?
Tool, resource, podcast, book or person youβve invested in thatβs added value to your entrepreneurial journey
Kelsey Reidlβs Podcast, Laura Sinclair for coaching, and aligned networking events such as Wave and High Vibe Women.
Tell us more about your business (what do you do, who do you help, what does your workday look like, how do people find out about you).
Iβm a copywriter for heart-led brands and leaders who want to connect on an emotional level with their audience. I believe that this is the key to selling in a way that feel good for both you and your audience.
My typical workday looks like client calls where I learn the inside of their brand and their messaging, then I will do research and create comprehensive summaries to help me have a full understanding of my client and their target audience.
After research I get into writing! It usually starts with a not-so-pretty first draft but I chip away at it until itβs smooth, converting copy.
People typically find out about me from past clients, people in my community or on Instagram. Iβm also big on in person events so a lot of times I will connect with people there.
Recent milestone youβve celebrated in your business?
I quit my job of 10+ years in banking in April 2024 and have been working full-time from home in my business.
It was my goal when I first started out and itβs been absolutely incredible - Iβve never wanted to turn back which is a really great feeling.
Favourite way to wind down after a long workweek.
Having dinner with my family, getting the kids to bed for an early bedtime and watching a show or reading a book with my husband. Then getting an early bedtime myself.
Before starting my workday, I make sure toβ¦
Clear my head. Because my work can be really deeply creative and relies on my brain, I always make sure to have a clear head before I sit down to work. I do this by journaling or going for a walk with my pup.
Best part of my work isβ¦
All of it. Just kidding. I think itβs just so fulfilling. I love who I work with and the results they have after working together whether thatβs confidence in what theyβre saying or more leads and higher conversions.
I love that I can work from home and be with my family on my own terms. And I love getting to meet and connect with other business owners who have the same passion and drive that I do.
Tips for someone who is hesitant to follow their heart and start their own business?
Take messy action. Nobody actually knows what theyβre doing at the start, but if you take messy action you can at least figure it out along the way instead of always wondering βwhat if?β.
Last vacation you took (and where did you go)β¦

Bucket list vacation that you hope to embark on in the next 5 years (where to and why?)
Iβve always been obsessed with England and Ireland, and we did go a long time ago, but Iβd love to go back and see more of both countries.
