Hey visionaries welcome back to another mini episode.
And today I want to talk about five income streams for women who want to earn more money. Interesting, right?

And even if you're not a woman, or don't identify as a woman, you can still benefit from this podcast.
So I'm trying not to totally exclude anyone because this advice is super relevant. And what I'm just going to do here is actually break down a lot of my own experience and try to give you guys a bit of a behind the scenes on the income streams that I've activated.
And my hope in sharing this behind the scenes is that it opens your realm of possibility to what you can create because as you know, when you become an entrepreneur, your potential is unlimited, you can literally activate growth, and you can activate ideas, and you can bring this crazy concept to life. Like I want to partner with this incredible protein powder brand. If that's something that's a vision of yours, if it's on your heart, it's been on your mind, I guarantee you, we can get you there, it just may take some time, you may have to build a platform first.
But there are so many income streams for women. And the reason why I'm specifically sharing five income streams for women who want to earn more money is that I'm recording this on International Women's Day.
And so I'm really excited to dive in because women's there is a celebration that acknowledges the importance of women of all kind and the fact that for many years, we have been underrepresented, underrepresented in many aspects of society.
And we've often been discouraged from creating multiple income streams that empower us financially. And whether we know it or not, we may have downloaded programs from our ancestors from those who raised us from the people who we surround ourselves with these programs may have caused us to suppress our dreams to feel like we're not destined for big things to feel like five income streams is not for us, right. But it doesn't have to be this way, especially as a listener of this podcast called The visionary life podcast.
My guess is that you really want to create a visionary life, you don't want to settle for mediocre jobs, mediocre routines, mediocre Monday to Fridays. And you're curious on how you can slowly but surely plant seeds towards your most visionary life. And I define that as the life that is in alignment with the values that you have, if you value freedom and adventure.
Your visionary Life is full of freedom and adventure, I might be speaking about myself here. But again, today, or whenever you're listening to this, because when I record this, it's International Women's Day, and I want to show all women and all human beings who have that dream of more of better of greatness that you can have it right, it's flipping the switch on what's possible.
And when you change your mindset. And when you are able to show up from a place of belief. You show up from a place of safety because the women or the people around you empower you, and they encourage you to start the new business versus discourage you and tell you you'll never be able to do it. When we can show up from that place of safety and support and we surround ourselves with the right people. It is possible for us to create anything we want in this lifetime. This is going to change everything.

Are you ready to activate a brand new income stream? Because even though at this point, there might be nothing that you feel is evidently what you need to turn on? Right? You're like, okay, yeah, I'd love to make more money. Yeah, I'd love to eventually leave my full time job. Yeah, I'd love to have a passion project or a side hustle, or an Etsy shop or an online course. But nothing feels like the certain thing that I need to start. Newsflash, nothing will ever feel that certain.
Like, when I started the visionary method, I was nothing but uncertain. I just felt I don't know, how do I know this is gonna work is this the thing is this the thing that I'm going to devote my life to? Before that I had tried launching goal setting courses, Vision setting workshops, I had sold a mini course on social media, I was teaching fitness classes, I was doing consulting, I was working full time jobs in the health industry, I was doing a lot of things. I also had a network marketing business for a while. So nothing was really self evidently what I was going to devote my life to, but I did make a decision that I wanted more out of my life, I wanted to play the game, get messy, and find that thing that was going to support me financially, emotionally, physically, that would allow me to live out my core values. And so you might need to first decide like, what's the first thing you're going to do? And I hope to share some ideas with you today. And eventually, you're going to have to make the leap, whether it's small or a big leap, right.
But obviously, don't put yourself at risk. And I think when we hear oh, like five income streams that you can activate, we think, Well, the first thought might be, that's not for me, that's for people who are smarter, further along, have more resources. But I promise you, you don't need a Harvard degree to create income where there's never been income before. We live in this realm, which I've heard called the knowledge economy. And it is a multi billion dollar industry. It's where people package up their knowledge and sell it for money. So basically, if you can solve someone's problem, you have yourself a business at the top of a keyboard, you can create content, or there's never been content at the top of a keyboard, you can actually launch a product and start making money. It's insane, right?
Welcome to the incredible world of the World Wide Web. And I know for sure, because I've done it that if you have life and work experience, if you have personal transformations, if you have stories, if you have a growth mindset, if you have a desire to solve a problem that you see out in the world, then you can start a business. It's so cool, right?
And I want you to have your piece of the pie because everybody else is doing it. You see all the folks on Instagram, all the folks with the YouTube ads and their Lamborghinis. They're all making money, whether ethically or not, no, I'm just kidding. But I want you to have your piece of the pie because the knowledge economy is here to stay.
And it's really neat because we live in this day and age to where people want to choose their teachers. So instead of enrolling at your local college in a social media marketing course, you might actually sign up with someone who teaches social media marketing online, because you resonate with them more, you have common threads with them. You love their teaching style. So we no longer need to just learn from the people closest to us or hire the people closest to us. We live in a global marketplace.
And we're also moving to a peer to peer economy, right? So
instead of me hiring, like experts who have been in the game for 30 years, I look at appear who's just a little further along, and I say yeah, I want to learn from you. So for them not to have an income stream where I can pay them. It's a lost opportunity, right? And a lot of these income streams that I'm going to share I know I've been leading into this for a while, but they're very low barrier to entry. You don't need much capital to start them up, like barely any at all because they're mostly based on your knowledge. You might need a few tools or systems or software's, but that's it. And the cool thing is that the income streams I'm going to share, they allow you to start quickly and adapt quickly, right? Like, you're not going to have to go through years and years of prototypes to get your very first non alcoholic wine.
And then you go through all this branding, and then you decide, nobody likes it. And you have to go through iteration two, and three, and prototype seven, and eight. Now there's all these barriers to getting it on the shelf. That's not the ideas that I'm going to be sharing. So I want to share simple things that you can do.
Of course, they will require hard work, dedication, some element of creativity, but I promise you that with the right mindset, the right belief in yourself that you can kickstart your own earning potential with one of these income streams. So let's get into it. Alright, income stream number one is one to one coaching. So this is something that I started my business with offering one on one coaching or private coaching. And the reason why I started coaching was that number one, I loved it, I was already teaching at a private college, I had been coaching athletics for at least a decade. And I was teaching a lot of online courses and stuff. And I was getting a lot of my students asking me like, Hey, can I just hire you private, I just want to learn the thing. But I don't want to do it in a class setting, or I just want your attention on my business. And that's when I put together my very first it was social media marketing coaching at the time.
And I put together a package it was, I believe, six weeks for $300, which is crazy thinking back seven years ago, and I sent the PDF file that I created to my very first coaching client, and she said, looks great, when can we start. So I had to figure out all my systems and get everything set up and really start building all the resources. But when somebody asks you for more of what you're already doing, go ahead and start a one on one coaching practice. So if you have experience, if you can transform someone's life, and get them results, you have a one on one coaching program in you if you have transformed the way that your family eats.
And now you live on $100 budget a week, that could be taught through one on one coaching, if you are somebody who is really good at DIY Wedding dresses, and you take clients on who want to, like literally so their dream wedding dress themselves, because they don't want to spend the money and they want it to be a sentimental item, you could coach someone how to go from no sewing skills to wearing your dream wedding dress in six months. That'd be cool, right? So that would be the first income stream. And the way to get started on this is simply to write out a bunch of pain points that people are experiencing, and a bunch of dream come true outcomes that they would want. So going back to the eating on a budget for a family, you might write out the pain point of every time you go to the grocery store, you're spending three or $400 You feel like you're spending most of your family's spare cash on food. You wish you could take the kids to Disney World. But with the amount you spend on groceries, it's not happening. You feel like you go into the store with no plan, and therefore your grocery bill is chaos.
So those are the challenges. If you yourself have figured out how to feed your family the best nourishing meals on $100 a day, you have figured out how to put away $300 A week in your dream vacation travel fund, you have figured out how to build crowd pleasing menu plans that cost less than ordering pizza every night like whatever it is, I'm just making this up and then you build the one on one coaching offering. What can you charge for that? Well, imagine what you're saving people from imagine you're saving them from hundreds of dollars of spent cash every single week at the grocery store. You're saving them from the fear that they'll never get that dream vacation to Disney World. You're saving them from the chaos that is Sunday night thinking of all the meals they have to pack and how are they going to cook without blowing the budget this week. So there's your one on one coaching offering. So that would be income stream number one now income stream number two actually piggybacks on that and that is to package up your program into a group offering or a self study course. So once you You've had about 10 to 31 on one clients, I want you to think about how you can really streamline this curriculum that you've taught 30 times now individually, how can you streamline it, streamline it into a group program or a self study course.
So these would likely cost your client a little bit less, because one on one coaching is kind of like the VIP tier, you only have so much capacity in the day. But with group programs and online courses, you can charge a little less, because your involvement is less, right. It's not that it's less valuable, per se, but you're giving your dream clients another option of how they can work with you. So your second income stream, could be to one day, package up your coaching into a self study course. And then you put it on Kajabi, or teachable or Thinkific. Or you can teach it as a group program, maybe you launch it twice a year, once in September, and once in January, and you enroll a bunch of clients, and you get 30 people, you teach them once a week for six weeks, and then it's over. Right. So you've now got 30 people at a certain price point.
So you're able to scale your impact, incredible. So that would be income stream. Number two, income stream. Number three is affiliate marketing, or sponsorship deals. So when you think about your program, maybe going back to that meal planning program, perhaps there are certain brands, certain tools, certain systems that you use that you teach with that you can actually get some affiliate kickback if you recommended them to your clients. So maybe you use a really awesome meal planning software. And when clients enroll, you actually get a 10% lifetime commission kickback on that software. So that is the power of affiliate marketing that yeah, you may not make a ton like 10% of $100 a year for the software, that's 10 bucks. But if they use this for the rest of your life, you're making a few 100 Easy dollars off of just one client. So that's pretty awesome, right? So are there affiliate links that you could sign up for?
For example, I'm an affiliate with jasper.ai. I love using artificial intelligence content writing, not to write all my content, but to help me with ideation and structure and flow. And then if you enroll as a paid client, then I actually get an affiliate commission, which is kind of cool. I also do this for my favorite Squarespace website template.
So if you buy a template from Kelsey rydell.com/website, I actually get a small kickback. But these are things that I truly believe in and I use them myself use them all the time all the time. So I don't feel like it's a weird way to make money. It's just I have these tools, I've got the kind of shortlist of things I recommend. And instead of just sharing a generic link to that brand, I share my affiliate link, which gives me some kickback for promoting their product for supporting my clients and really knowing how to use the software best before I refer them into it. So that would be income stream number three, you can also become an affiliate marketer, even if you don't really have your own business, you can just sign up for affiliate accounts.
So if you love something in your personal life, for example, I love my rucksack is a backpack that you put a weight in. So I became an affiliate with go rock.com So if somebody buys a rucksack using my link, I get a kickback that's not business related. For me. It's just something I love and use in my everyday life. So I'm sure there are things you use in everyday that you could make kickback on. The next way is to treat yourself as a media company. So is there anywhere where brands can buy media from you? Do you have a huge Instagram following?
And could you pitch different brands to actually pay you to do a sponsored post? Do you have a really big listener or even a small listenership on your podcast or viewership on your YouTube channel? Well, that gives you all the right and all the collateral to actually pitch for brand deals. So if you are super keen to work with a local honey company and you have a really big presence with a YouTube channel in your local community, go to that honey company and say look, I have 30,000 Some people in our town that watch my YouTube channel. And they're all passionate environmentalists and health nuts.
And here's the data, I would love to do a little commercial mid roll in my next YouTube video that pitches your honey. And then I'll do a giveaway to on my Instagram and send it out via email to support you guys. And that's going to cost $750. But likely you're gonna get $750 in sales from it. So look for areas where you have a platform where you have attention, and then ask yourselves what brands would actually love to get in front of people on this platform. So that would be income stream number four.

And let's get on to income stream number five. This one is again, super, super simple. And it kind of is alongside of one on one coaching. But this would be consulting work. So I still take on a lot of consulting gigs if they're the right fit in the sense that there will be organizations that reach out to me and say we just need a 12 months social media strategy.
Can you build it out for us? So it's a one time project where I'm basically doing it by myself on my own time, or I had the Grande River Hospital They'll reach out, which is a local hospital to me. And they needed a new website. And they knew that I designed Squarespace sites. So I, you know, ask them the scope of the project, am I the right fit for this? And what's their budget, and I took on the consulting gig. So as you start to become more visible with your one on one coaching your online courses, doing affiliate marketing, you're pitching brands, you're also gonna get people coming back to you saying, oh, okay, like this is all awesome.
But do you do any consulting? Can you help us with this project, we just need somebody for, you know, the next three months who can help us build our sales team. So look for consulting opportunities, because generally these are high paying, because they're b2b or business to business. And there's a lot of cash in the pockets of businesses for the most parts. So if you're looking to make a little extra money, consider how consulting or packaging up a skill or a service that you could offer. Like, for me, it would be social media marketing, or building out a marketing plan or building a website from zero to functional website. So there's lots to do there. But this is a really great way to kind of make money on your own time.
So you don't have to show up for too many live calls. And there are a lot of companies that they don't have the full time budget for certain staff anymore, but they are definitely looking for freelancers. So there you have it. Those are the five income streams for women who want to earn more money. And I hope that this inspires you. And I hope to remind you that if you desire any of those five or beyond, of course, there are so many more options that you can have it and it is possible for you and we are living in a land of opportunity, especially in the online world.
